Raúl Lerma Winner in East Saturday, July 1st , 2051 Raúl Lerma put together a good June to earn the East Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Hilton Head officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Islanders center fielder posted a .314 batting average with 10 home runs, 20 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This season Lerma is hitting .270 with 79 hits, 25 home runs, 58 RBIs, scored 46 runs and played in 73 games. |
