Tillman Snares CLE Top Batter Award in September Sunday, October 1st , 2051 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Phil Tillman has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Mobile Hammers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in September, which have garnered him the nod as the East Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .362 average with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 13 runs scored. To date, Tillman has collected 169 hits for a .326 average.
