Big Year for Manning, Wins CLE Most Valuable Pitcher

Stan Manning had a marvelous 2051 season. The Havre de Grace mound mainstay garnered the most votes and has been named the CLE Most Valuable Pitcher honoree.

The Ducks star dominated his opposition, finishing with 17 wins, 5 losses and a 2.47 ERA. In 27 starts he worked a total of 153.1 innings, striking out 140, while walking 37. Other clubs managed to hit only .237 against him.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Mike Madison of the Toledo Ducks finished second in voting, while Darren Parsons of the Havre de Grace Ducks finished third.
