He may have less experience than most of his Confederation League peers, but that didn't slow Chris Reinert down at all in 2051.

At the age of 22, the Tucson center fielder has been named the winner of the West Most Valuable Hitter.

He had a .310 batting average and a .369 on-base percentage this year. In 137 games he piled up 175 hits, 32 doubles, 2 triples, 22 home runs, 84 RBIs and 101 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 20. Mike Marshall of the Grand Junction Lumberjacks finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Marv Potts of the Caseyville Fighter Pilots finished third with 7 first place votes.
