Thursday, October 26th , 2051
The future looks extremely bright for Jarrod Woodruff. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in Confederation League.
Woodruff has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the East Most Valuable Hitter.
"I didn't expect to hit .334 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.
The Havre de Grace Ducks star also put up a .416 on-base percentage this year, with 142 hits, 23 doubles, 2 triples, 28 home runs, 113 RBIs and 90 runs scored.
He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 20. Wally Swift of the Mobile Hammers finished second in voting, while Phil Tillman of the Mobile Hammers finished third.
