Román Shows Off, Hits for Cycle Sunday, June 16th , 2052 Most fans have never seen a player hit for the cycle, and most players have never done it -- but it happened today at Brigs Stadium. César Román of the Erie Brigs accomplished the feat against Spokane Indians. Román went 4-for-4 with 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run in the 9-0 Erie victory. "That was one for the grandkids, am I right?" Román said after the game. Román also scored 2 runs and had 4 RBI in a day to remember for both Román and the crowd at Brigs Stadium. César Román hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Steve Johnson in the 4th and singled in the 6th.
