CLW Awards Best Batter Prize to Cobb Monday, August 5th , 2052 Mike Cobb is respected by most St. Cloud Water Wolves fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the West Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .417 average (10-for-24) with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this season, Cobb has recorded a .280 batting average with 66 hits, 7 home runs, 30 RBIs, 22 runs scored and a .364 OBP. |
