Lollar Pounds LLW Pitchers This Week Monday, September 2nd , 2058 So far in his young career, Matt Lollar has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the West in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 18-year-old St. Cloud Silver Hawks first baseman hit at a torrid .524 clip as he collected 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Lollar is swinging the bat at a .359 rate with 172 hits in 479 at-bats. To date he has hit 20 home runs, scored 80 runs and driven in 101. |
