Hit Streak Over, Oceanics Stop Moore Tuesday, September 10th , 2058 The 28-game hitting streak is over. Tallahassee Raccoons right fielder Tyler Moore failed to get a hit today against the Orlando Oceanics and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 22-year-old went 0-for-3 in his club's 13-8 victory over the Oceanics at Tallahassee Field. "I think I only made it to 28 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." This year Moore has hit at a .385 pace and produced 119 RBIs, 17 home runs and scored 143 runs. |
