Oceanics Cruise to Liberty Cup with Sweep Friday, September 27th , 2058 It's a sweet sweep for the Orlando Oceanics and they have won the League Championship Series. The Miami Aces were not able to keep pace with the Oceanics and dropped the series in short order, losing 12-3 in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Miami manager . It's now on to the Liberty Cup for Orlando after their 4-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was second baseman Mark Diekman, who was named MVP. For the series, Diekman hit .389 with a .476 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Orlando Oceanics don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Pensacola Wahoos - Miami Beach Expos series. That series is tied at 1 game each.
