Super Month Nets Banks #1 Batter Prize in LLE Tuesday, July 1st , 2042 When Rusty Banks stepped up to the plate in June he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the East Batter of the Month award. The young Gainesville first baseman posted a .418 batting average with 7 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 30 runs. Banks also worked pitchers for 15 walks to post a .496 on-base percentage.
