Maldonado Takes LLE's Best Bat Trophy Friday, September 1st , 2045 Marc Maldonado may be much younger than other hitters in the East, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old Punta Gorda center fielder hit .417 with 10 home runs, 26 RBIs and 27 runs scored. So far this season Maldonado is hitting .302 with 28 home runs, 84 RBIs and 97 runs scored. He has 148 hits in 490 at-bats and a .407 OBP. |
