Moyer Rockets 3 HR Against Jupiter Monday, May 6th , 2047 Desi Moyer was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 11-5 Jacksonville Rockies triumph at The French Fry today. The 18-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Rockies past the Jupiter Spuds. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Moyer told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The second baseman went 3-for-3, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Desi Moyer hit a solo-shot off Jarred Hill in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jarred Hill in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Tim Griffin in the 7th and walked in the 8th. Moyer has a .316 average and a .426 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 36 hits, 4 home runs and driven in 19 runs. |
