Uytenhage Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, August 1st , 2047 Rien Uytenhage continued his streak at Bucs Field today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Redington Beach center fielder was 2-for-3 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Panic were not as fortunate, losing 5-4 to the Bradenton Bucs. "Uytenhage was hitting everything we threw at him," said Bradenton manager . "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Rien Uytenhage singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th and struck out in the 6th. Currently Uytenhage is batting .392 with 6 home runs, 33 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
