Suárez Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, April 9th , 2051 The hitting streak for Bradenton center fielder Pepe Suárez now stands at 25 games, but the Bucs dropped today's contest 13-2 to the Punta Gorda Bulldogs. Suárez went 1-for-3 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Pepe Suárez struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th and grounded out in the 6th. |
