Sarasota Stops Suárez's Hit Streak Tuesday, April 11th , 2051 Bradenton center fielder Pepe Suárez experienced something against the Sarasota Wolves he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game. The Wolves pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 25 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Bucs to a 11-0 victory at Sarasota Stadium. "Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 25-game hitting streak," Suárez joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories." |
