Hit Streak Now at 20 for Gonzalez Wednesday, April 8th , 2065 The number just keeps getting higher. Corpus Christi College first baseman Dave Gonzalez has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 1 at-bat as the Corpus Christi College took the 3-0 win over the Plaster Rock College Whalers at Ballpark of Corpus Christi College. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Plaster Rock College manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Dave Gonzalez hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Gonzalez has batted at a .335 pace with 60 hits, 16 home runs, 44 RBIs and scored 31 times. |
