Jose Rios Lost for Season Thursday, April 9th , 2065 The season is finished for Jose Rios of the Corpus Christi College Weasels. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Weasels reliever suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Plaster Rock College Whalers. Team doctors said it would take at least 11 months to heal. For the season his stats show Rios has no saves in 17 relief appearances with a 2-2 record and 2.36 ERA. |
