Carpenter Pounds NC Pitchers This Week Monday, April 13th , 2065 Pitchers who faced the Angola on the Lake College Skywarriors last week were happy to see Greg Carpenter in the rear-view mirror. The 19-year-old first baseman was dubbed the National Conference Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .458 clip. For the week he also chalked up 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Looking at his present stats, Carpenter has compiled a .279 batting average in 36 games with a .395 on-base percentage, while hitting 5 home runs and driving in 20 runs. |
