Postseason Bid Ends for Madison College Thursday, April 16th , 2065 It wasn't meant to be for the Madison College Sundevils this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Sundevils starting pitcher J.D. Bryant. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." The Sundevils have made the playoffs 14 times in their 49 years as a College League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2057. In the last 10 seasons, the Sundevils have made the playoffs 2 times. Madison College has won the College Cup 4 times in their history. |
