Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 3 Games Saturday, April 18th , 2065 Today the league office handed out 3-game suspensions to Ross Curtis of the Monsoon and Wei-qian Nan of the Whalers for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at Ballpark of San Luis Obispo College yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future." This year Curtis is hitting at a .218 pace with 19 home runs and 47 RBIs. He has played in 56 games and scored 33 times. Up to this point in the season, Nan has put up these stats: 21 relief appearances, 12 saves, 18.1 IP, 18 strikeouts and 4.42 ERA. His won-lost record is 1-3 with the opposition is hitting .227 against him. |
