Ross Curtis wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named College Wildcard Series MVP.

The star's San Luis Obispo College Monsoon defeated the Glendale College Browns by a series score of 3-1 to advance to the College League Championship Series.

San Luis Obispo College won the final game by a 8-2 count in front of a raucous crowd at Ballpark of San Luis Obispo College.

Curtis hit .250 with a .250 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 3 home runs, driving in 5 RBI and scoring 3 runs.

"Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Curtis.

The San Luis Obispo College Monsoon don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the O'Hara Township College All-Stars - El Paso College Missiles series. El Paso College leads the series 2 games to 1. The College League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the College Wildcard Series finishes.
