Missiles Move on to College Cup Monday, May 11th , 2065 The fans in El Paso College are celebrating the Missiles victory over the San Luis Obispo College Monsoon in the College League Championship Series. They defeated the San Luis Obispo College Monsoon 4-2 in the finale played at Ballpark of San Luis Obispo College to capture the series 4-2. Kenny Daugherty was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Missiles first baseman batted .500, drove in 11 runs and scored 5 runs in the series. "The Monsoon are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Daugherty said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The El Paso College Missiles will play against the Gatineau College Golden Spikes in the next round. Gatineau College won their series against the Wilkes-Barre Township College Villians 4 games to 2.
