National Conference Best Pitcher Chosen

Rob Taylor of the Oklahoma City College Wardogs has been selected the premier pitcher in the National Conference and will receive the Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2051.

The top vote-getter completed the year with a 5-4 record. He started 12 times, threw 73 innings, chalked up 72 strikeouts and 14 walks, limited hitters to a .219 batting average and posted an impressive 1.85 ERA.

He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 20. Tim Payne of the Laval College Rockies finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Luis Silva of the Angola on the Lake College Skywarriors finished third.
