AC Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award Tuesday, June 18th , 2052 The American Conference has heralded Carlos Bonilla of the Omaha College Canaries as the #1 man on the mound for the 2052 campaign. This year's Outstanding Pitcher Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 8-3 record, holding opposing hitters to a .204 batting average and posting a 2.06 ERA. The 19-year-old hurler tossed 65.2 innings, gave up 49 hits, fanned 92 and issued 20 walks. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 20. Mario Garza of the San Luis Obispo College Monsoon finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Josh Volkman of the Anchorage College Caribous finished third with 5 first place votes.
