Sexton Wins PL Prize, Named Best Hitter in May Monday, June 1st , 2043 At only 14 years of age, Ron Sexton could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the San Francisco HS Sea Lions, as May was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the Pioneer League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .412 with 17 home runs, 39 RBIs and 35 runs scored. Presently Sexton is batting .381 with 31 home runs and 74 RBIs. He has played in 50 games and scored 63 times. |
