Season Possibly Over for Don Diego Monday, May 9th , 2044 When Don Diego was hurt against the Tucson HS Pioneers, the Phoenix HS Fire Ants were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 16-year-old reliever suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Diego would miss 11 months of the season. So far this season Diego has worked 28.2 innings in 12 relief appearances with 2 saves. He has dished out 36 strikeouts and walked 15 with a 3-0 mark and a 2.51 ERA. |
