Hitting Streak Still Alive for Reinert Friday, May 13th , 2044 Chris Reinert of the Austin HS Anteaters extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 7-6 triumph over the Manhattan HS Monarchs at Austin HS Fields. "Chris has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Anteaters manager joked after the game. Chris Reinert grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Reinert is hitting .359 this year with 8 home runs and 36 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .437, 21 walks and scored 34 times. |
