Streak Finally Over, St. Pierre Held Hitless
Sunday, May 15th , 2044
Jeremy St. Pierre's 23-game hitting streak was snapped today at Gaels Stadium. The 16-year-old Tucson HS Pioneers shortstop failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats in the game against the Markesan HS Gaels, but Tucson HS came out the winner, 10-9.

"I don't think the streak was ever a big deal to Jeremy," Pioneers manager said after the game. "He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames."

This year St. Pierre is hitting .417, produced 63 RBIs and 18 home runs, scored 54 times and gotten on base at a .473 rate.
