Pete Harrison Top PL Hurler Friday, July 8th , 2044 The Lackland AFB HS clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Pete Harrison will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2044 Pioneer League Outstanding Pitcher Award. Harrison made 12 starts this year, winning 4 and losing 3. He threw 58.1 innings, fanned 64, allowed 36 hits and 35 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .176 average as he logged an impressive 2.16 ERA. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 40. Morgan Roche of the Lackland AFB HS Bombers finished second in voting with 14 first place votes, while Tim Gregg of the Riverside HS Golden Hawks finished third with 4 first place votes.
