Pérez Has 30-Game Hitting Streak Monday, May 15th , 2045 José Pérez extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30 games today in the San Jose HS 7-6 triumph over the Phoenix HS Fire Ants. The 15-year-old Sharks right fielder collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." José Pérez flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Currently Pérez has 11 home runs and a .434 batting average. |
