Lavallee Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak

The hitting streak for San Jose HS first baseman Randy Lavallee now stands at 20 games, but the Sharks dropped today's contest 6-2 to the Riverside HS Golden Hawks. Lavallee went 2-for-4 in the game.
"Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Randy Lavallee grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Tony Cook in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
This season Lavallee is swinging the bat at a .368 pace. He has hit 5 home runs and scored 51 times, while driving in 28. His on-base percentage is .462 and he has played in 48 games.
