Pioneers Lose Andrews for Season Wednesday, May 16th , 2046 Kevin Andrews will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Tucson HS reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Andrews was injured while throwing a pitch in the Pioneers-Bruins clash at Queens HS Fields recently. Doctors said he has shoulder inflammation and would be out a minimum of 4 months. To date, Andrews has collected no saves in 20 relief appearances. He has rung up 27 strikeouts and 24 walks in 24.1 innings while registering a 6.29 ERA and a 2-0 won-lost record. |
