PL's Top Hitter Named Friday, June 1st , 2046 Mike Robertson put together a good May to earn the Pioneer League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Gordon HS officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Spartans center fielder posted a .457 batting average with 10 home runs, 39 RBIs and 35 runs scored. In 49 games this season Robertson has batted at a .396 pace with 82 hits and 16 home runs. |
