Boucher's Hit Streak Over Wednesday, May 15th , 2047 The Lackland AFB HS Bombers lost to the Markesan HS Gaels 8-3 today at Gaels Stadium, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Rob Boucher's 22-game hitting streak. The center fielder went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Boucher, we would win the game," Gaels manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." Currently Boucher is batting .362 with 7 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
