Nordiques End Scott's Streak Tuesday, April 20th , 2049 Doug Scott of the Riverside HS Golden Hawks came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 26 games. Making matters even worse for the right fielder, Riverside HS dropped the game to the Quebec City HS Nordiques 7-0. "It was not a good day today," Scott told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Scott is batting .344 with 6 home runs and 17 RBIs this season. |
