Flitney Hits in 36 Consecutive Games Wednesday, April 21st , 2049 Greg Flitney continued his streak at Ballpark of Markham HS today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Markham HS right fielder was 1-for-5 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 36 games. The Coyotes were not as fortunate, losing 8-2 to the Houston HS Hornets. "Flitney was hitting everything we threw at him," said Houston HS manager . "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Greg Flitney flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. This season Flitney is batting at a .382 clip with 4 home runs and 10 RBIs. |
