Gámez Sensational, 5-for-5 Wednesday, May 5th , 2049 New Orleans HS Locomotives right fielder Albert Gámez had a day to remember at Gaels Stadium today, ripping apart the Markesan HS Gaels and sparking the Locomotives to a 14-12 victory. Gámez wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Gámez told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Albert Gámez singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th and singled in the 7th. Gámez on the season is batting .311 with 5 home runs.
