Joseph Strokes 5 Hits Thursday, April 7th , 2050 Even as a kid, Kevin Joseph said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Wranglers Park today, Joseph showed how well he learned that lesson. The 15-year-old second baseman had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Reno HS Wranglers, helping his team knock off the Milwaukee HS Saints by a score of 12-11. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today." Kevin Joseph singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ben Hatfield in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
