Charles Meilleur Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Monday, April 25th , 2050 The season is finished for Charles Meilleur of the Sacramento HS Rivercats. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Rivercats reliever suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Riverside HS Golden Hawks. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal. Meilleur has taken the mound for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-1 record with a 6.30 ERA. The Sacramento HS reliever has limited opposing batters to a .308 batting average. |
