Tucson HS Devastated by Playoff Elimination Thursday, May 5th , 2050 Tucson HS Pioneers second baseman Rod Stanford said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2050 postseason contention. Tucson HS last appeared in the postseason in 2045. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 25 times in their 33-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Pioneers have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
