Houston HS Eliminated from Playoff Contention Friday, May 6th , 2050 The hopes of lifting a championship trophy in Houston HS this year have now vanished. The Houston HS Hornets have been eliminated from postseason contention. "I'm not happy but I'm trying to come to terms with it," left fielder Steve Wells said. The Hornets have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 25 years as a High School League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044. In the last 10 seasons, the Hornets have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
