Galindo Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 24 Sunday, April 2nd , 2051 Queens HS center fielder José Galindo experienced something against the Montreal HS Loggers he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game. The Loggers pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 24 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Bruins to a 6-3 victory at Montreal HS Grounds. "Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 24-game hitting streak," Galindo joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories." |
