Vaughan Fingleson Bashes Three over the Wall

Fans are still buzzing after Houston HS whipped the Dallas HS Hammerheads by the score of 15-5 today at Ballpark of Dallas HS.
Vaughan Fingleson smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 3 hits in 6 at-bats, had 6 RBIs and scored 3 times.
At the postgame press conference, Fingleson said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Fingleson said. "Three is just... wow."
Vaughan Fingleson hit a solo-shot off Dan Sampson in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Randy Tyack in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Kevin Daugherty in the 9th.
