20 Games in a Row for Corsetti Saturday, April 29th , 2051 Ben Corsetti ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Drillers Stadium, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Kirbyville HS Drillers dropped the game, 9-8, to the Buffalo HS Bisons. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Corsetti said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Ben Corsetti flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Doug Clark in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. Currently Corsetti is batting .343 with 35 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 18 runs and scored 25 times. |
