Hit Streak Over, Bisons Stop Corsetti Sunday, April 30th , 2051 The streak has been snapped. Ben Corsetti failed to get a hit in today's game against the Buffalo HS Bisons, bringing his 20-game hitting spree to an end. The 14-year-old Kirbyville HS third baseman was 0-for-4, but the Drillers got the win and defeated the Bisons 17-1. "I'm not disappointed at all -- I had a great run," Corsetti said. "I got to 20 games. I got my name into an elite group with a bunch of good ballplayers. What's there to complain about?" In his season totals, Corsetti has 6 home runs, .330 BA, .430 OBP, 19 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 26 games. |
