Terriers Clinch Wild Card Sunday, May 7th , 2051 Long Beach HS Terriers fans may have experienced their fair share of nervousness, but the club has triumphed late in the year to capture a wild card berth. "We just wanted to make things interesting," joked left fielder Steve Thompson. "But really, it is a relief to be able to get into the playoffs." The team has a record of 18-12 and will be trying to capture the 1st High School League championship in franchise history. |
