Sullivan Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Sunday, April 7th , 2052 Jeff Sullivan collected 3 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Riverside HS Golden Hawks, beat the Gordon HS Spartans 13-4. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Sullivan quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Jeff Sullivan grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Sullivan has a .440 average and a .462 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 11 hits, 1 home run and driven in 7 runs. |
