Berserkers Bonfim and Monarchs Guerrero Suspended for Fight Saturday, June 3rd , 2056 Alvare Bonfim of Wisconsin and Luis Guerrero of Kansas were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Bonfim will have to miss 2 games for his part in the brawl, while Guerrero was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Thus far this year Bonfim has hit .233 with no home runs and 5 RBIs. Guerrero has made 10 starts so far this year and put up a 6-0 won-lost record with a 1.91 ERA. In 61.1 innings he has allowed 44 hits, walked 17 and struck out 60. |
