Ervin, Garland Swap Teams Saturday, June 17th , 2056 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Wisconsin Berserkers and the Missouri Mules. As part of the deal, the Berserkers swapped 30-year old RF Ken Ervin to the Mules getting 31-year old RHP Joel Garland in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. This season Ervin is batting .284 with 44 hits, 11 home runs, 45 RBIs, .349 OBP and has scored 23 runs. Currently Garland has a 2-5 won-lost record in 8 starts with a 4.10 ERA. He also has 40 strikeouts in 48.1 innings. |
